About HANSEATIC nature

The 15,500 ton HANSEATIC nature will be the first new built expedition ship for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. The German-language vessel enters service in 2019, followed by sister HANSEATIC inspiration that will cater to an International audience. The two five star ships will be exceptionally spacious and luxurious, with many cabins having a French balcony or full balcony. The hull of HANSEATIC nature will be built by VARD Tulcua in Romania and towed to the VARD yard in Langsten, Norway for fitting out. The vessel will have the highest ice class but is specifcally designed for operations in all climates. HANSEATIC nature has a pool that can be covered by a glass roof, a walkway on the bow offering incomparable views. New features are E-zodiacs and a retractable glass deck that offers dare devils a terrifying view over the sea many decks down.
