Serenade of the Seas Ship History

German Meyer Werft delivered Serenade of the Seas to Royal Caribbean International on July 30, 2003. The ship sailed for Amsterdam where her maiden voyage to Boston started. The third of four identical ships in the Radiance Class, Serenade of the Seas has an interesting engine arrangement with two gas turbines and one steam exhaust turbine. She, like her sisters, is extremely good looking with her raked bow, beautiful stern and lots of glass.
