The Most Memorable Sailaways: Buenos Aires, Argentinia
.
March 10, 2012 - It was a dream start of a dream cruise. My first visit to South America had started at the magical Iguazu Falls, then continued to the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires. After days of touring, we took a taxi to the port area to embark on Oceania Cruises' intimate Insignia. Our ship was docked between piles of containers and looked like a luxury oasis in an industrial desert. The next day, after Grand Mistral and Costa Magica had left their berths, Insignia headed out to the Rio de la Plata framed by the most spectacular of sunsets. We were about to discover new horizons, visiting places like Punta del Este, Paraty and Rio de Janeiro. What a way to set sail!
